In the heart of the picturesque hamlet of Rozavales, nestled amongst enchanting forests and fairy-tale hamlets, lies a hidden gem. The Pazo da Pena provides a magical and inspiring atmosphere, where traditional charm and modern elegance come together seamlessly. The beautifully restored manor, with its intricate architecture and attention to detail, feels like stepping back in time. The communal areas, spanning over 700m2, offer endless possibilities to explore and unwind. The ecological garden, bursting with delicious fruit for breakfast conserves, adds a delightful touch to your stay. And if you're lucky, you might even get to taste the famous apples during the season. The lounge of the rock, with its relics and artifacts, allows you to take a flight back in time.
Complicated check-in process.

I was really excited to visit Museo da Escola e a Infancia in Manzaneda, so I chose to stay at Pazo Da Pena. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the possibility of a late check-out, which the staff happily arranged for me. The "Balcony of the Rock" accessible from the "Lounge of the Rock" was the highlight for me, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere.
No evening meals available.

A hidden gem of a hotel in Galicia. The attention to detail is incredible, from the warm welcome by Claudia to the beautifully restored medieval castle. The location is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. We felt spoiled throughout our stay, with a ridiculously cheap price for what we received. The common areas are cozy and invite you to relax, and the shower and bed were simply fabulous. The breakfast offered delicious local delicacies. Highly recommended for a special and unique experience in Galicia.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was absolutely mind-blowing! The staff went above and beyond to provide helpful information before our arrival, and the lady who greeted us was a delight. The hotel itself is a jaw-dropping blend of modern comfort and historic charm - the beautifully restored rooms and common areas were pure perfection. The breakfast, complete with homemade orange marmalade, was a treat. And despite the lack of a restaurant, the nearby café offered incredibly delicious and affordable meals. The hotel's peaceful setting and on-site amenities, including Wi-Fi, on-site car park, laundry facilities, flat-screen TVs. Plus, the no-pets-allowed and no-smoking policy ensured a clean and pleasant environment. One night was not enough to fully appreciate this gem of a hotel!

What a magnificent hidden gem tucked away in the countryside! the hotel rooms are spacious, clean and well-furnished, with comfortable beds and fluffy pillows. the staff are extremely welcoming and attentive, offering great service and local knowledge. the homemade food is a treat, prepared with fresh organic produce. the location couldn't be better for exploring nearby vineyards and wineries.
The remote location might be a disadvantage for some since there are no nearby restaurants or dining options. Breakfast could have offered more variety.

The location is great, surrounded by a beautiful countryside with lots of hiking opportunities and a winery nearby. The room was clean and comfortable with historic decor. We enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good selection of basics, and the staff was friendly.
The dinner was a huge disappointment. The food was of poor quality, overcooked and lacking in flavor.

The rooms at Pazo de Pena Manzaneda were super cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch for some evening relaxation, and the private bathroom with free toiletries added that extra touch of luxury. Loved it!
Although the rooms were stylish, I personally didn't care for the fact that they were connected. But hey, that's just me.

Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the hotel has stunning views to the chapel. the rooms are well appointed with spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds, ideal for a relaxing stay. the breakfast offers local delicacies and there are common areas to relax in. the staff are charming and knowledgeable, giving helpful advice on the surrounding area.
The unspeakable desert surrounding the hotel makes it impossible to take a stroll outside the grounds.
